With Heartfelt Thanks to the APC2026 Community

As APC2026 comes to a close, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this commemorative event such a great success.

APC2026 welcomed 354 participants from 17 countries and regions, and featured approximately 300 presentations. The exceptionally high standard of the research presented, together with the lively and constructive discussions throughout the conference, made APC2026 a truly stimulating forum for scientific exchange. We sincerely thank all presenters, speakers, moderators, and participants for sharing their expertise, insights, and enthusiasm.

We are especially pleased that students accounted for 43% of all participants. In addition, a satellite tutorial workshop was held in conjunction with the conference, attracting 40 graduate students. Their active involvement brought fresh perspectives and energy to APC2026 and highlighted the conference’s important role in supporting, educating, and inspiring the next generation of researchers. We hope the knowledge, practical experience, and professional connections gained through the conference and workshop will encourage these young researchers to pursue further achievements and contribute to the future development of our field.

Participants from countries and regions connected through the APA network represented 96% of total attendance. This strong participation demonstrated the vitality of the network and the close relationships that have developed within our community.

Thirty years after the first APC was held in Hong Kong, APC2026 marked a significant milestone in our shared history. It also provided a valuable opportunity for representatives of European Photochemistry Association(EPA), Inter-American Photochemical Society (i-APS) and APA to come together, reaffirm their commitment to collaboration, and share a common vision and scope for strengthening this partnership in the years ahead.
