Passport and Visa
All foreign visitors entering Japan must possess a valid passport.
Participants from countries requiring a visa to enter Japan should obtain one from the nearest Japanese embassy or consulate ahead of time.

- To issue an invitation letter, we need to confirm your registration and payment for the registration fee completion. (The invitation letter will be sent to you after your payment of the registration fee)
- We can issue the invitation letter for APC2026 only to participants and the accompanying persons(accompanying persons should be family members only).
- We can issue only an invitation letter just for the conference period.
- If you require visa documents, please inform us both of your registration number and payment number by email being indicated below.
- After we confirm both of them, we will send you a visa application form file, and ask you to fill out the form and send it back to us with a copy of your face photo page of your passport.
Please be advised that the issuance of visa documents will be processed by Secretariat in the order in which the visa application forms are received, and kindly acknowledge that it will take approximately one week and a bit more excluding weekends to complete.

Climate in Kobe
Weather in September
- In early September, Kobe remains a little hot and humid, with daytime temperatures typically ranging from 25°C to 30°C (77°F to 86°F) or even higher, feeling even warmer due to the humidity.
- September is also part of Japan’s typhoon season, so occasional heavy rain and strong winds may occur. Visitors are encouraged to check updated forecasts.
Clothing Recommendations
- Light, breathable clothing is highly recommended during the day to stay comfortable in the heat. A hat, sunglasses, and sunscreen may also be useful. A light jacket or cardigan could be helpful indoors or in air-conditioned venues. Carrying an umbrella or a waterproof jacket is advised in case of sudden rain.
Guide for Participation
Accompanying Persons
- If you wish to have a family member visit the venue, please apply for a Name Tag through the Secretariat at least one month in advance, providing the guest’s name and their relationship to the participant.
- There is no registration fee for accompanying family members; however, they are not permitted to attend presentations or poster sessions.
- Accompanying persons are strictly limited to family members.
Internet Access
- Wi-Fi facilities are not provided at the venue. Participants are advised to prepare their own mobile Wi-Fi or data connection.
Recording and Photography Policy
- Any photography, video recording, or audio recording of presentations is strictly forbidden.
